The Darte method was created in 2013 and is a psycho-educational approach of art as therapy that has its roots in the British "The Art Room" model.
We work with young people aged 5-16 and aim to develop their creativity, self-esteem, self-confidence as well as their social and emotional skills. The Darte Method is developed in schools and we also work with other institutions.
In the Darte Sessions, the artistic creation is the core activity and each art project is designed to promote the development of specific skills. We also take time to talk, read and share a special snack.
Creating a welcoming and caring environment as well as trusting relationships is something essential in this psycho-educational approach.
